vibration when trim is up

would anyone be able to tell me why i have a bad vibration when i trim up? It will do it even half way up, but down it is fine? Just replaced gimble bearing,bellows, alined motor but still vibration. mercruiser 3.0 alpha 1

Was the vibration present before you did all of the above?

i dont know. I bought the boat with needing the gimble to be replaced.

Half way up is way too high for trim, that is in the tilt range and it should vibrate.
If you are going by your gauge or where the trim limit is set, you might want to recheck the dimensions to see if it's adjusted correctly and you aren't trimming too high.

The picture below shows the MAX trim up dimension allowed.

You didn't mention the u-joints...?

If not replaced, that is where I'd be looking. Not to hard to check out!

when i had the lower unit off i checked the u joints they seemed fine not sloppy, lose or anything like that so i greased them up and put back it back in. So ill check the the other things you suggested thanks for the help much appreciated
