I have made so many posts lately it's hard to keep up, but the weather here is so hot I'm doing everything but boating! Don't think it's for the post count, because I lost my password and as soon as this computer dies, I'll lose this account 
<br /><br />I purchased my boat 2 years ago, never got the trailer in my name. In AZ there is not penalty for waiting <br /><br />The problem is: when I took the trailer to the DMV, they couldn't find the VIN number, so they wanted me to post a bond (several thousand dollars) and issue me a VIN. The title has one. The tongue appears to be homemade and has been welded on since the trailer was new. I'm guessing the original VIN was removed with the old tongue.<br /><br />I need to have a vin plate made up OR stamp the numbers into the "C" channel.<br /><br />Any thoughts on what is best and how to go about it, I need to get this trailer in my name. Thanks.
