anyone out there ever heard of a minnkota trolling motor/ sonar 35? i saw one at a garage sale today. the graph is actually part of the top housing. it is a tiller steer model. the motor itself is 17# thrust. i didn't see a transducer. it is probably incorporated in the shaft at the bottom. should have checked. the guy says he thinks it's an early 80s model. it is a cute lil sucker! even has the original box. i checked on line and found a mdl35, but no sonar. just wondering if it may be collectable. guy wants 90 bucks but i think i can get it for 65 or so. any help appreciated...thanks...captn-tin

I had one of these. They are not collectable and the sonar tended to "die" well before the motor. Parts to repair the sonar portion were non-existant. Too bad. Excellent concept for the hoards of folks who use a TM as primary propulsion on a cane/jon for fishing. Wish they would market another!

I just happen to own one and love the little sucker. I do not use the depth finder portion of it but it still works.
