I have a 1972 Starcraft Starchief 18 ft cuddy and the plexiglass cabin windshield is in bad shape. I see some restored craft of the same model with new replacements that look excellent. Are these from some aftermarket, Starcraft manufacturer or locally made?

For my Chief I had a glass shop cut and put the center bend in mine out of poly carbonate, just remove the old one and take it to them so they can get it right. Don't remove the protective film from it until you have it in place for the install.

I was just looking at how to post a pic. Just about knock off time at work. Maybe I'll find it on the home computer. Thanks for the info.

Well I tried but I keep getting a message saying the upload exceeds allowed file size.
Using smartphone.
Any suggestions?

Sorry I only use my phone to upload pics to photobucket and then post the link into the thread. That's one of the options listed int he sticky.

I use Photobucket via my phones browser, not the android app.

Works well, been using it for nearly 5yrs for all my pix posts on several different forums

Thanks DeepCMark58A, I had a bad experience with PB with all of the ads blocking everything I tried to do. Very frustrating. Then I downloaded the PB app.
Don't know what will happen next . Haven't tried. Don't know why Iboats doesn't want to make things simple. I have a degree in computer science. Our main goal was to make things USER FRIENDLY. Not so here.... What's the big deal with shooting a photo straight into your own profile? I'd love to show my wife's boat.
My experience with PB, it may not happen. Saddddly

You are simply copying the wrong code at PB. That is a link to the PB homepage, not your pix album

Use your phones browser, log in to a PB account in a new tab

Click the pix you want to post

Click the SHARE button and click the GET LINKS choice

Once the links appear, copy the IMG Code.

Paste that code into a post

Iboats limits pix size because content would swell to an infinitely large size, just to host pix. Iboats isnt a pix host, its a boat resource that is aided by pix. Pix loading is significantly slower then text (even w heavy fornatting), which would then also needlessly tie up network resources from me on my phone sitting on the couch, thru my modem, ISP, my ISPs network, the transmisssion lines, to the Iboats ISP, network and Iboats servers.

W 100s of thousands of members, and millions of topics, much of it surfable w out joining, tying up resources to host large format pix isnt going to happen.

Even old, small cellphone cameras take large MB pix

I use PB to host hundreds of pix I post across multiple forums, it works w all of them w little effort. And have done so for nearly 5yrs.

READ the info at the link Watermann posted above OR follow the method I outlined in the post. It works, and works well
