I picked a new a new to me smart phone and as part of the new plan they are trying to promote and sell a Voicemail to Text add on.

So far I have not been too impressed with the translation of some of the messages. One of my friends called from out of state today.

Message shown - "Hey shawn hi like to work thanks hi there won't be upside down there what a beautiful thing"

Actual message - "Michigan a right to work state, what the heck the world is upside down man, oh that's a beautiful thing"

Please NO comments on the subject matter of the message. It will lock this in a heart beat.

It just makes me laugh that they want me to pay extra for this service. It appears to work really good.:lol:

I have seen a few other really fine examples from when my 80 year old mom has left a message.

Wonderfull technology isn't it???
My phone has voice to text and if you want it to somewhat work you have to speak real slow, kinda like if you were talking to a 98 year old that's gone senile and has alzheimer's and lost both hearing aids...

I've been seeing this stuff way too much.

"I picked a new a new to me..."

If they can't get this stuff fixed, how are they ever going to get voicemail to text to work?
