hi <br />82' 228 - 260 mercruiser (350) mallory points system ...what should voltage to points be? <br />with "key on" im getting 4.5 v <br />with engine running = 10.8 on (+) side of coil>> 7.4-7.8 on (-) side feeding points <br />Problem : having to clean points every other time out ...when it first started , key had been left on a couple times ...replaced both coil & points .....still cleaning <br />any imput would be greatly appreciated <br />thanx
