I am trying to find out if a Volvo AQ250 leg with similar ratio is compatable and able to be hooked up to a AQ280 unit utilising the existing bell housing and transom setup.
The leg on the AQ280 is dead. cheers
You will have problems with the steering fork and helmet assembly and getting the proper attaching setup for the 250 drive.
The 250 uses a single pin/screw to hook the helmet to the upper gear box. The 280 probably has the pin and two bolts holding it in.
