Hello all,
I must be losing my mind...
I thought I remembered being able to change the drive bellows on my AQ125/270A WITHOUT removing the upper gear housing or pulling the entire drive off. I replaced the bellows 4 years ago and THOUGHT there was enough play in the drive spline to slide it out some with the drive fully tilted up as long as the u-joint was properly aligned to pull a little down and back.
Am I wrong?
If so, what's the easiest way? My drive bellows failed on year 4.... Had always replaced them myself every 3 years. (and I don't remember pulling the upper gear housing!!) Now I see what happens when you try to stretch things.
My thanks in advance for your expertise.
Bob
