Volvo 290a bellows

I'm new here and want to change the bellows on my 290a. I read a post about how to do a 280. Is that the same procedure and orings used for the 290a? Also do I have to torque the gear housing down to a certain foot torque?

yes, the proceedure would be the same. however there are basically two upper gear boxes available, not sure the o-ring part number is the same between them.

also, it would be a good idea to download the manual for your boat. I did when I got my VP290 equipped boat in 2011 and use the manual often.
