It got pretty hot yesterday while I was out so I had to be towed in. The boat only has 60 hours on it and I haven’t changed the impeller so the first thing that I did once pulled out was to take the cover off and saw the impeller was chewed up pretty good. The housing was clear of any debris but I did notice around two of the ports it kind of had some rough places which coincide with the markings on the impeller. Is the impeller bad enough to cause problems? Or should I be looking at something else. The right side of the housing in the picture is the side that has the rough places.

Impellers should be changed every other year. Can see that the vanes are laying down and not springing back up.

Look and feel the inside edges of the housing and see if a place needs to be polished up and pit.
