Volvo 5.0 gxi ignition relay keeps going bad

I have a Volvo 5.0 gxi that keeps having the ignition relay go bad. Each time I replace it, the problem goes away in the short term. It will work the entire day on the lake, then the next day the relay is bad. Any and all help is appreciated!
