Volvo 8.1 Fuel Filters

does anyone know if a 2002 cobalt 262 volvo 8.1 gi has an inline fuel filter? i change the main filter constantly but have issues yearly. Had to replace injectors 2 years ago. Now missing bad over 3000rpm but main fuel filter changed 6 hours ago. have thought may have something in fuel tank....thanks

There is a screen over the pickup hose in the fuel tank. Sounds like it's time to pump out the fuel tank and see what's in there.

Have you checked the fuel filter on the engine to see if there is water or dirt in it?

There is a screen over the pickup hose in the fuel tank. Sounds like it's time to pump out the fuel tank and see what's in there.

Is there a way to pump out the tank? I have thought for some time the previous owner may have had an enemy who poured something other than fuel in the tank...
