I have a volvo aq125a engine w/ 270 outdrive. is there a larger motor i could put in the boat to run with the 270 outdrive, and what is a good prop to run on the 270 drive with the 125a engine.
The gear ratio in your outdrive is only good for a 4 cylinder engine.
Prop depends on your WOT rpm.
Check your WOT (Wide Open Throttle) rpm and see what you get. Should be 4800 to 5000 rpm.
