Volvo AQ125B Loading Up!

:facepalm: Hi, my name is Jack and this is my first post. I have a 1986 Bayliner with a Volvo AQ125B I/O. The problem I have is when I troll (Using a trolling plate) the engine loads up and stalls. Once I get it started, I have to run it for awhile to get it blown out. I have put a new kit in the single downdraft carburetor, but the problem still persists. What can I do to solve this problem?

Frustrated and would just like to go fishing...
