Volvo AQ130

Turns out this engine is a 130, managed to free it and put a new starter and coil in and is turning over. Need new dist' cap leads etc, what i need to know is how the ht leads match to each each cyl'.<br />Have ordered a manual but will take upto 10 days.<br />any help appreciated.

Bring #1 cylinder up to TDC on compression stroke. Put the rotor on. It's pointing to #1. Then follow the firing order 1-3-4-2 with the plug wires in the direction of distributor rotation.

Cheers Don, your advice worked a treat. Have since flushed 3 lots of oil through and the engine purrs like a cat. All i need is to get a new thermostat and alternator.<br />Many thanks
