Volvo AQ170 motor

Where can i find on of these. Mine has a cracked head and I wanna get it going since the 15 ft boat isn't big enough for my family. please help.
Also since it has a milky oil problem what should i do with the rest of the engine? anything special??

Ebay and CL are a couple of options to find used engines, the 170's are really that common and very expensive to fix, and many of the marine parts are NLA.

If it has milky oil in the engine, there is a very high probability that the block is cracked. Not much call for engines with a cracked block.

i did pull the head last summer and found it to be cracked. do you think I can get the milky oil from this as i was assuming?? Or do i go with the assumption that the block is junk to? Do i try to repower this with a Merc. or part it out? I could drop the volvo iron anchor in it and hang an O/B .The weight I remove from the 6 cyl and OD could allow me to power with my 80 Mecr. ? yes?
