Volvo controls question

My wife and I purchased a 2004 Crusiers 280 CXi, twin 4.3 and SX drives. It has top mounted twin Volvo controls and on the front face of the control base are two switches. These are the trim overide switches for raiseing the outdrives to trailor position. The starboard switch is broken and was pushed back into the control base. I removed the base and removed the switch to replace it. The switch is a JUDCO 1024-2 and is no longer made. I called JUDCO and they refer me to their distributor. The distributor has no specs on the switch and no info on what switch replaced it. It looks like Volvo still sells the controls so a replacement must be available. Can anyone help me with this? Here is a pic of the controls...

Re: Volvo controls question

You should be able to buy the switch from Volvo. If you have a model number, send them an email and they will help you out. I have done something similar in the past.

Re: Volvo controls question

Thanks for the help guys. A fellow fourm member from Puerto Rico on the Crusiers Yachts site gave me the Volvo part number for both the switch and boot (override 3856848 and boot 3856849).

Happy boating!
