Getting the boat ready for the season, have always had service done at local marine mechanic, he only had time to drain block last fall so I am doing the rest of the maintenance myself this spring.
Draining the lube out of the drive and it is REALLY black. I am concerned as the boat only got about 40 hours put on it last year. Anything that I need to do other than drain and refil. I am using the Volvo gear lube. Mechanic told me that that is what he used, but this is definetely a mercruiser area
