volvo GI NO START FOR A FEW MINUTES

I have a 04 crownline 225 br with the volvo 5.7gi and dp. When i first try to start it for the first time it just spins over for about 2 minutes then starts hitting a little then fires up and runs perfect. The rest of the day it starts and runs perfect. When i first try to start it i checked and it is firing and i can here the fuel pump running but i haven't checked fuel pressure which i doubt or injector pulse yet. Any ideas before i get started checking stuff it is gm 350 if that matters thanks

If you have spark and you have air then you're only missing one thing.....hook your fuel pump up to clear line and put the other end in a gas can and see if that helps.
