I have new to me 255 cobalt 2004 with a duel prop that seems to run really good till it gets over 3500 rpm. Then it starts to miss ,I can’t figure it out. I thought maybe it was a safety feature but I’m don’t know what to think.
Any ideas out there?

What is your fuel pressure?

Have you plugged in with Rinda to read what is going on?

Previous years had a SLOW mode which occurs if either an oil pressure switch or temp switch gets activated. The ECU would then modulate the injectors to keep engine speed down. A rinda would tell you this is occuring.
