Good morning everyone. I have a 2000 Monterey Edge 180 with a VP 3.0. Upon dewinterizing (a little late in the season I know), I was able to start the boat. Ran good all day in the driveway while cleaning and what not. Let it sit for the week and came back about 5 days later to work on it a little more, and now it will not start.
I have verified that I can getting fuel. I have also verified I am not getting spark. I have good battery, new plugs, wires, dist cap, rotor and coil. I checked all the fuses and breakers. I am getting voltage to the coil, and between the coil and distributor. I am not getting anything out of the distributer, but am not sold on the idea that is the issue. Is there something in line, or involving the starting and charging system I should look at?
I hope I left enough details for someone who has possibly seen this issue to pinpoint.
Thanks in advance.
