Hey, so when I go to start up the 1996 Glastron 175 se I just bought nothing happens. I can use another yellow wire from the back which is ignition and use that with the key and it starts right up. Once it is running it will start with the key every time out on the lake no problems. But the next day it’s the same thing on the first try of the day. I replaced the starter and the relay with no success. The key obviously works because I get power to that other ignition wire back there every time I turn the key. I am at a loss of what could cause this?

Another yellow wire? Where? A jumper? Ignition wire is purple, primary circuit wire for cranking/relay is yellow with a red tracer.

Check the starting system troubleshooting guide in the stickies top of forum page. Based on your description my first guess would be neutral safety switch is intermittent faulty
