I'm a Mercruiser guy on these forums, so here is the story:
A friend inherited a late model Volvo Penta 3.0GL (2008 I think - all I know). It had approximately 20 hours on it but has not been winterized in 2 years (stored on boat lift out of water). Bildge is bone dry.
What is the likelihood of cracked block? (doesn't freeze much here in SE Virginia). Oil is absolutely fine. Plugs look alright (without cranking).
I am thinking about cranking the engine and looking for water/plug condition. Not gonna try and run it.
Anything else I should watch for?
Thanks
