I need help on that please,
I have a 2010 Crownline 195SS with a Volvo 4.3 GXi-J and I have a problem and a lot of difficulties to solve. The boat works when he wants, this weekend I walked all day and when I got to the ramp and hung up it didn't work anymore.
The next day in the morning I turned it on and it worked normally, I would like to know if someone could help me to solve the problem.

Explain more about what its not doing. When it doesn't work, do you mean it won't start, or won't crank?

When the key is turned ON, do you hear the fuel pump and see the gauges turn ON?

The boat crank but doesn’t start, but as I said sometimes it happens, now I don’t trust to put it in the water to test.
Yes, the gas pump makes a noise and the last time I started the boat and it worked.

Need to find out if the pump runs when it doesn't start

If the pump does not come ON and it does crank, then it might be the man overboard kill switch, or ignition key switch or just a bad connection.

I had this problem before and it didn't work at all, so a mechanic gave me the diagnosis that the computer was burnt, I sent the computer to Hi-tech in Texas and they fixed it and the boat worked as soon as we put the computer on. I put it in the water and used it for the whole day and when I took it out of the water it didn't work anymore. The next day in the morning I turned it on and it worked normally.

With it being intermittent I don't see it being the computer this time. Most likely its a bad connection. The kill switch can get corrosion on the contacts, a loose contact on the computer connector or other. Just no way to determine what is wrong until it won't start.

Thanks for your help, and I will try to check the connectors.

Most likely the diz cap or battery on this engine. That’s if your fuel is known to be good.
