volvo penta 4.3 outdrive question

I am going to be replacing the raw water pump here this weekend. however, people keep telling me that i should have an impeller in the lower unit of my outdrive too. I cannot find evidence of that or any parts to even buy. Can someone inform me?

Volvo never had an impeller in the lower unit, so those people are thinking of Mercruiser Alpha drives or the OMC cobra drives

Awesome! Thanks for the confirmation! I already got the replacement for the raw water pump impeller. Going to get into that this weekend. Also have to replace the shift shaft seal and bushing as well. Hopefully, then I'll be ready to drop 'er in.
