Had the boat out a lot this past weekend everything was going good and then starboard motor big hesitation trying to get on plane. 2800-3000 would not get on plane with 4 people, full tanks.
These are throttle body motors i’m being told the low pressure should have around 10 pounds and the high-pressure 29 to 31 pounds
I have changed the water separators everything was clean
rotor and cap wires new

Low pressure tested perfect 10lbs
High pressure at Idle stayed right at 29 pounds
When I was trying to get on plane around 3000 RPMs the motor would hesitate and the fuel filter would drop 2 pounds or so and then fluctuate back up to 29 pounds.

Is this supposed to stay steady all the time and not fluctuate at all? Could this be my problem with it moving around like that?

Pull the fuel filter and pour contents into something clear like a baggy. See if there is anything in there other then clean gas. If that's good, remove the fuel line off the tank going to the motor and may have to extend the hose but use a 5 gallon or so gas can.

If it runs off a gas can then the issue is narrowed down to tank and pick up

I did drain the water separator and it was clear. I will try and run it off a separate fuel tank
