If this question is more about the fuel injectors then my problem I have a bog in the motor at 3000 RPM's and then I will pull all the way up to Full rpm.
These are 5.0 GI motors Me and my mechanic in Italy done every thing and everything is turning out perfect
The mechanic says one of my injectors has a 1.3 pulse and the other one has a 1.0 pulse
Anyone have any input on this
He is thinking the injectors need to be replaced but it looks like Volvo Penta only sells the whole throttlebody is there any other way of replacing this

Have the injectors been professionally cleaned and tested to at least 5000 rpms measuring flow rate and pules width?

The injectors cannot be found at VP but they are probably still being produced for GM. What year is the motor?

Is it 2000 5.0 gi pefs
It looks like the mechanic has found some new injectors with all the new gaskets and everything

Does that make sense to anyone if it's reading 1.0 pulse width on one of the injectors and 1.3 pulse width and another with that make it run lean in the middle

I don't know a thing about your injectors. But I have the same motor as yours. But the 5.7 gsi. Let use know how it turns out after you install the new injectors. I would say your mechanic is correct.

I took that statement as this was during a test. That said the intake has two levels and there could be a difference but sure wouldn't think it would do that. A 0.3 difference is a bunch

You can send your injectors to one of many companies that clean and test them for a fraction of the cost. They usually come back with new filters and o-rings

Well we ordered new ones I should've looked into that but with the help I was getting from the mechanic this is my only choice
My boat has twin motors and he actually tested the other injectors and they were all 1.3 on the good motor

Make sure to keep the old injectors, might need the 1.3 another day. that said I would still go have the injectors flow tested and cleaned.

I would just search "injector flow testing" and see who offers what services. The key IMO is look for someone which has been doing it for some time, then compare prices
