I've got a 2000s Chris Craft Lancer 20 in freshwater with a Volvo Penta 5.0 GXi with a SX-A drive and have had it for 10 years with virtually no issues, until today. I noticed the trim was getting stuck at random points and took a few presses of the trim switch to get it unstuck. I pulled it out of the water and checked the trim fluid and made sure it was full. It was almost full, but I topped it up. Now the trim is more responsive in the lower half, but still gets stuck periodically. However, I'm unable to get it more the 3/4 of the way up. I can hear the pump trying but it still gets stuck.
