Looking at your engine model parts diagram it looks like you should have 10 studs that utilize cap nuts and spring washers holding the cover down...Correct? Item numbers 23, 27 & 28 http://www.volvopentastore.com/Cylin...view_id.784403 If you're using an actual torque wrench, I wouldn't go much past 150 inch pound force which = 12.5 foot pounds.
