Hi everyone, New to this forum and I need help I have a AQ125B I have just rebuilt and once reinstalled in the 85 bayliner capri I have i am having a problem with the power to the console. the main power going to the solenoid checks out and if i jump from the main terminal to the left spade contact (power lead Y/O wire from the ignition) the starter cranks over fine but when I re-hooked up the power coming from the right space connector on the solenoid which leads to the 40Amp Button Breaker I am not getting power to the console (ignition switch) in fact not reading an power in that spade connector at all. I'm not sure what is going on but I know it will arc if I bridge between the right spade connector and the main power feed almost as if it is negative polarity or grounded? I am at a loss. Any help would be appreciated as to what it might be. Thanks

Do you have a neutral safety switch on your shift?
