Volvo Penta AQ130D Question maybe don knows...

Hi,
So i have a AQ130D engine that i am assembling and I just realized I cannot for the life of me find a Engine mount on volvopentastore.com that would work for my engine... does that mean it does not need one?
when i pulled the engine out i did not see any mounting hardware, it was just hanging by the 6 Main Bolts to the transom...
I did not see any support for any mounts in the fiberglass/wood, nor did i see any holes from any mounts.... i see a spot on the block where the regular engine mount would be.. i think...
but not sure..

any assistance would be helpful

i dont know if the way it was in the boat originally just hanging by the 6 bolts from transom is the way to go because if i hit one way i could turn the engine into a big boat anchor.. dont wanna do that..

Ayuh,... Those little motors are hung off the drive, with No front mount...

What are you trying to accomplish, first you can't find the mount, then you didn't even know what it was. What are you trying to accomplish. This is not just unscrew one and screw a new one in, the engine has to be pulled to do it, then it needs to be realigned.

yes the motor is out with outdrive and completely out of the boat disassembled. i was just questioning wether or not some sort of extra support was needed that was not with the original boat... hopefully i can clear it up
when i said i couldnt find the mount, i meant that I looked in the bilge area and did not see a place for a mount (being new to boating i was under the impression it needed a mount similar to the ones some other people have been showcasing in their rebuilds on this forum) so i was mainly stating that i could not find mine and was asking whether or not i needed one..
and when i said "thats what it was" i was just glad to know thats what it was for because i have browsed through that schematic before, and i was wondering what the "#78 rubber cusion" was for.
But as always don you cleared it up and i am always thankful for ur advice .

OK, lol, now I have a clearer picture also. I just thought from the original post you could find the mount in the parts breakdown.
It was kind of a shock to me when I first seen one in a boat with no front mounts. Until I went to work for a VP dealer, I had no clue either. That was pre-internet days.

Ok thank you all. This has taught me a lot. I just brought home my Conversion Kit (seals for the lower part of the engine) 18-2983 (Sierra PN) I hope its the correct one, i dont remember where i read it but i read that was... and for the Head Gasket set to use 18-2982. can anyone confirm this?

But i sure wish the Conversion set came with a diagram of which seal goes where... im gonna have to do some sluething on volvopentastore.com diagrams.

hate to keep knawin at this.. but i did a little brisk skim and found this... any idea if this would apply to me? it says for AQ130D, but its for engines with 280 outdrive... if im not mistakin then i dont need this...
