Volvo Penta Aquamatic 290, Single prop outdrive.

Hi,

I am getting a milky fluid when i drain the leg. Can someone please help me to find out where water could be entering the gear lub and how to repair this problem?

Speaking generically water could enter through seals on the prop shaft,the drive shaft and any components involved in operating the transmission also drain and fill plugs.These components can be replaced.
