Volvo Penta black box

Hi Gang,

Can someone help me identify what the black box in the upper right of this picture is please? It has a red light that flashes even when my battery switch is off.

And if possible where does it get power from???? Yes I know the battery, I just can't locate it in my wiring schematic from the service manual.

I could be WAY off here but that looks identical to a tracking device. Even down to the blinking light.

LOL, you may need to replace your tinfoil hat, it's leaking.

It's the Active Corrosion Control system, similar to the Mercruiser Mercathode system.
