Volvo Penta D4 300 problem

Hello,

I have 2009 Volvo Penta D4 300i-a with EVC controls. I have dual controls for port and starboard with two helm stations. Upstairs helm works no problem and has their own Evc each. Inside helm has Evc along with throttle controls that mimic the upstairs except has keys that can turn engines on.

Now that being said I can turn on engines inside, I can see all info for both engines on rpm gauges, computer stuff. I can control starboard engine going forward, reverse, and neutral and revving engine up. My port engine I have no control on engine throttle. I plugged it into starboard and could control it so figure it was the throttle control levers and bought new one. Plugged it all in and starboard works again but port does not. Evc helm control is working as I can plug it into starboard throttle control and it works and controls port engine. But plug it back into port throttle control and nothing. I do see throttle at 700rpm and I can go through all settings like oil and water temps and turbo psi. But don’t have control of throttle moving boat on port side.

Any suggestions? Their is no sail drive I am straight shaft as well.

Don't know enough about the system @muc would.
Since everything works on STRB but not PORT, then I would look for a bad or broken connection. Something isn't able to send of receive signal and/or power

It does work when I plug it into the starboard side.

And the throttle control lever is brand new.

That's why I mentioned check wiring and connections on the port side.

You have replaced throttle and no change. Then swapped the EVC and it worked on the STRB side but not on PORT.

Wouldn't be the first time and wire broke connection inside the connector. That said, what I'm talking about is hard to find.
