Volvo Penta DP-C1 trim cylinders

Does anyone know if you can rebuild the trim cylinders. I have a major leak from around the rod. Is there rebuild kits or can you get lucky and find a replacement o ring ? If that is the problem .

Jihn: see my thread futher down the list. If your cyl's are round with round ends, there is a kit on ebay. The rod seal is a "Cup"type seal.
From what I can see, this kit has seals for several variations, and it's about $90 and will do both cyl's, but it doesn't include the piston ring which, if your rod leak is the only problem, you wont need anyway. Search " volvo trim cyl kits" on ebay.
