Volvo Penta model numbers??

Does anybody know some model # of their diesel engines and/or drives (or combos)? I want to Google for used or take out units in 80-130 hp.range. I want to refit my crab boat with a used diesel sterndrive. I was told to find a Volvo, but no clue how to word the search. I was also told the SX (?) druve would handle the diesel. Thanks for advice or numbers.:}

None of the older Volvo diesels were setup to use the SX style drive, only the 290 style both single and dual prop.
If you are looking for a complete package, the AD or AQAD 30 and 31 series was used in sterndrive applications.

but again, not in the SX version.
The ONLY Volvo diesels using the SX style drives are the D3 engines.

Is there a way to learn the codes? AD, AQAD, MOB,etc? If I learn the codes, then the ads make more sence. Thanks again, Ted
