I have been out a few times this year, but this time on the way back to the dock the boat died after I tried to adjust the trim. It would turn over, but not start. I didn't get any readings on my trim level after it died. After using my trolling motor to get back I had to disengage the hydro lines and manually lift the prop before taking it out of the water. After inspecting the wiring I noticed that behind the dash the kill switch has become detached. I secured the wiring that was disconnected and now I only get trim readings when I push the kill switch in. When I release the button the readings go away. I'm I missing some simple? The boat won't start without the trim reading but will crank just fine. Thank you for any help.
