Hello

I'm looking for some help in identifying my outdrive. The engine is an aq125b and was told the outdrive is a 270. The cover is missing and the plate on top of the drive is 27130872D. Any help would be appreciated. I'm trying to get some pics added but too large.

Sometimes depending on boat year could help try to find the more common drive model used with that engine...The first model used in the earlier years was the 270 before finding some 275's as the 80's went by.

Are there any other numbers on the ID tags that might be of some help too at locating a Product Number via a computer search? as 27130872D doesn't seem to be coming up..., https://www.volvopenta.us/marineleisure/en-us/for-owners/your-engine/decals.html

Below are 2 options at finding parts that was used with the 125B engines for you to look over,

Here's the 125B engine
http://www.volvopentastore.com/Mari...Q125B-7744630/dm/store_id.366--view_id.765104

Then if you click on Transmissions you can see what drive numbers were used with that engine.

Parts option # 2 both the engine and drives for you here,

Thanks for your response. I will check out these links. That is the only number stamped right in the middle of the tag. It's an 86 bayliner if that helps any. Most things I read state the first 3 numbers indicate the drive but didnt think there was such a thing as a 271 but I'm no expert. I will check the links and see what I can come up with.

most if not all the 125s were paired with the 270 drive.
