Hi,
I have a 1996 Volvo Penta SX (I believe SX-C) that I need to replace. The tag on the upper case has a P/N of 3868389 and says 1.66 ratio.
I found a couple SX-M drives that I believe will work (1.66 and 1.79 ratios). Can anyone confirm this?
Are the trim cylinders and mounting pins the same? I'm asking because the VP drive chart PDF that is floating around states that the SX-M drive uses different trim cylinders and pump.
Any input is much appreciated.
Thanks

[Q] What is the main reason there are two ratios for VP SX legs? ( 1.66 and 1.79 )

Is it to match engine ?
