Volvo Penta SX

Need some help with a 99 Glastron 205 5.7 with a Volvo Penta SX outdrive. When at Full throttle with the outdrive trim up to full speed it feels like the outdrive is starting to slip. If trimmed back down it imediatly quits acting up. Any help would be greatly appriciated Thanks.

Your trimming too high, you have to keep the prop in the water. I sure hope you aren't trying to trim by what the gauge says.

Nope I'm very famaliar with the boat ive used the trim at the same place for years. I can hear and see when trimmed to high Thanks for the reply

How do you know the drive is in the same place?

By the way the wake looks the sound of the motor the trim gauge. This is a new problem had the boat for ten years know it very well something is slipping or binding up causeing the boat to surge and slow down.

Maybe lost the diffuser ring off the prop?
