Volvo Penta Trim Stopped Working

We were cruising back on the lake this weekend and I kept seeing my bilge light go on so I stopped and opened the engine compartment. A hose had sprung a leak on the right side and was spraying the entire engine compartment where the trim assembly is (relays, motor, wiring, etc). When I get to my dock I go to raise the trim and its dead. Went back on Sunday after it had time to dry out and still nothing. I can here faint clicking of the relays when I hit the switch but no motor. Could the relays have shorted (cheapest fix)? I am assuming it is electrical since it was fine until it got soaked. Advice appreciated.

Most likely the relay is the issue. Need to use a meter and see whats happening. Don't know which drive you have

welcome aboard

could be relay
could be the cheesy main plug for the motor
could be the circuit breaker for the motor

need to start reading voltages like AD stated, then find where the power isnt.
