volvo pente 3.0 4 cyl (batt hooked up wrong)

hi everyone i made one of the dumb ones and HOOKED my new batt up wrong and now have no radio and all instrument pannel is dead no ignition. i have new batt and new starter relay still no dash can not find any inline fuses or any bad fuses at all not sure what blew and how to replace. any help would be a great help thanks.

Do you have a battery charger installed on your boat? If so there most likely is a fuse or in there that blew and cut the current. If not there has to be a fuse/breaker somewhere.

no battery charger in boat thank you for your post. It's a 78 Seaswirl and have 7 or so fuses on dash and 3 fuses for the navig system they are all still good

Welcome to iboats!:welcome:

There should be a main fuse or breaker mounted on the engine somewhere. It could be part of the connection at the starter. There should also be a fuse or breaker within a foot of the positive battery terminal in the line that feeds the fuse block.
