Volvo Prop Question

I have a 1974 Volvo/Ford 302 V8, Glastron, Volvo Outdrive. I have had it since new and have some prop questions.

I have only had one prop repaired in the years I have owned it. My spare prop has no numbers on it. It appears to be 14" diameter and has 17 splines.

I have also noticed that there seemed to have few options on props compared to Mercruiser.

Can someone enlighten me on the Volvo Prop situation? Are there high performance options?

Sure there is. You just not going to find through Volvo. About all of them are going to be aftermarket. Sadly I just changed internet providers and lost all my favorites (f_in MSN Explorer) but they are out there.

Well, it depends a bit on the type of Volvo outdrive. If you have the Aquamatic kind, prop choices will be much more limited than if you have the SX-type drive.
