Volvo service manuals.

Good morning all,
looking to purchase service manuals for Volvo penta the engine tag reveals that the motors are 5.7 gi-c. Since I recently purchased a boat with these Volvo’s I would like to familiarize my self with service procedures. Also drives are duo props. Boat is in water still so I haven’t been able to get product number. They are same year as the engines. Thanks

I tried the volvo website and it only shows a parts catalog. 5.0GL PBYC 4110162674. I am looking for the correct spark plug gap and timing currently.

Your engine is too old for that site to work. If you want manuals, they must be ordered from a dealer.

You can try going to "Scribd.com" and search for the Volvo manual you need. I found Volvo Penta Workshop Manual for my 5.0Gxi engine and sterndrive there and it's likely they'll have yours too. It's free for 30 days and you can download PDF copies of the original Volvo manuals. I've also seen many used manuals for sale on eBay. You can also purchase a SELOC Volvo Penta Repair Manual from Amazon, Walmart, eBay, etc. for around $30+, covers everything, very useful.
