I have corroded line connections to the Trim Cylinders.
Has anyone eve tried to heat up the connectors to break the bonds of corrosion, thus allowing the connections to break free?
Thanks.

Too much heat can ruin the seals in the rams
Try PB blaster.

As a last resort you could heat them but you may also damage the internal seals in the cylinder. The best method I have found is to soak em with penetrating oil then break the line off close to the fitting. You can now use a 7/16 six point socket to remove the fitting.

Thanks guys, your statements are just what I needed to hear.
I've never been a very patient person, so waiting for the possible results of penetrating fluids makes me edgy. :)
I'll follow your suggestions and let you know how it goes.
Cheers!

3 of the 4 I managed to break free and remove, the 4th I had to cut the line and use a socket as suggested.
I'm great full for the advise!
Thank you!
