VP 4.3gl alternator problem

Hi all,
My alternator stator output for eletric choke reads only 7v
I understand that 7v is right on idle however mine reads the same regardless of rpm and of course my choke doesn't work due to low voltage
Would this indicate the alternator problem
Otherwise I think the alternator is ok charging the battery, output is just over 14v

I don't see anything of issue with your findings

The electric choke output is AC. Were you measuring on a DC or AC scale on your meter?

Thank you bruce 58. That would make sense
looks like my choke cap might be burned
