VP 5.0 OSi 2002 MEFI 4 (GM smb) starting on bench

I have the above engine on a stand and need advice on how to run it on engine stand out of boat.

Here is what i know:

1. Connect water cooling
2. Connect +ve battery cable to Starter lug
3. Connect -ve battery cable to Engine ground
4. Connect a separate +ve wire to purple wire on back of alternator
5. Crank engine over by touching / jumping the yellow/red wire on starter

As this is an EFI engine with ECU what other connections do i have to make (i have attached wiring dia for this engine but am not confident this dia is correct as there have been other mistakes in the manual)

What is the full model number for your engine, or the serial number. I don't answer questions on the newer engines by year, sorry.

Your Serial number says it's a different engine from your model number. Which is right?
What color is the engine, does it have a heat exchanger or not?
Can you post a picture of it?

Just for everyone information:

Got answer from Volvo Penta USA :

" The correct way would be to make connections at the round 10 pin connector. Connect pins 5 & 6 for ignition, the fuel pumps should run for about 5 seconds, then jump the starter solenoid "
