i am new to the forum so hi everyone,
i have the above set up and am having shifting problems, there is a delay of a couple of seconds before the gears actually engage. i was told that VP redesigned the shift mechanism actuator but i cannot find anyone to verify, except someone said his was upgraded under warranty and solved the problem.
could you advise and also if it could be the clutch cone causing this problem and how easy is it to change out the clutch cone, i do not have a mechanic in my area so will have to do myself ( i do work on engines but am not familiar with outdrives)
