Hello all! My first time posting here but been reading for awhile...So I have water dripping out of my raw water pump weep holes at high RPM, which is dripping onto my belts and spraying all inside the engine compartment (fresh water thank god). I replaced the impeller and o-ring gasket and still happening so I'm thinking of attempting to replace the pump seal that goes around the shaft that turns the impeller...
Can I do this without having to pull the entire pulley off the engine block? I'm somewhat mechanical but do not have bearing pullers, etc...I realize my bearing may be damaged but I would like to try the seal first to see if the leakage stops and then assess any bearing noise or issues.
2007 or 08 Volvo Penta GXI-H EFI engine with DP outdrive.
Any advice would be MUCH APPRECIATED
