Can someone point me in the right direction, I have been struggling to find the diagnostic port. I am having a problem with rough idle and I have the Rinda Diacom marine software.
As instructed, I am using the 94029 adapter (which is a straight 6 pin connector with only 4 actual pins).
This is on an VP 8.1L Gxi-J motor. It's on a 2010 Chaparral 256 ssx
I have located most all open port ends, but nothing that is a flat 6 pin connector.
Can someone help me out with it's location. Very much appreciated..

My 2011 5.7 GI port is on the Starboard side of the intake manifold . I also use the same 94029 adapter on my Rinda. The port has a plug in the end you have to remove and there are a couple other plugs close by. There are a lot of wires by my mine from the fuel injectors and the exhaust manifold temps, and the 02 probes. Hope that helps. Dave-R

Thanks Dave- I'll go hunting again today after work. I found a few open connectors (with plugs on the end) in the rear and a cluster on the starboard side of the intake manifold. However, none had a flat 6 pin connector. My 2010 8.1 gxi does not have Cats or O2 sensors. It has to be buried somewhere- they certainly don't make it easy!
Its been a frustrating end to the boating season. This idle issue is driving me nuts!

This one might be taped to it (white cap)
